WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Jim Justice, alongside students from the Nicholas County Career and Technical Center, unveiled an Almost Heaven Swing in his Washington, D.C. office:
“The Almost Heaven swings have become a true symbol of West Virginia, and I couldn’t be prouder of what they represent. We launched this project back in 2022 to showcase the beauty of our state and boost our growing tourism, and let me tell you, these swings have taken off across West Virginia like you wouldn’t believe. What makes them extra special is that each one is handcrafted by the talented students at the Nicholas County Career and Technical Center, and you can see their skill and craftsmanship shining through in every swing. I’m thrilled to bring another piece of my home state all the way to D.C. I hope everyone who stops by this swing feels a little closer to West Virginia and is inspired to come see for themselves why we truly are Almost Heaven,” said Senator Jim Justice.
