FAIRMONT, WV – Today, Senator Jim Justice released a statement following the Marion County Veterans Memorial dedication ceremony:
“I know this memorial has been a long time coming, and it is incredible that we get to recognize the 200 veterans whose names are etched into it. Our veterans give so much and ask for so little in return. That’s true bravery, and it deserves all the recognition in the world. As we get ready to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, this memorial reminds us what made this country the greatest nation on Earth in the first place. So today, we remember the names carved into this memorial and the families who sacrificed right alongside them,” said Senator Jim Justice.
