West Virginia has powered this country for generations, and its energy—especially coal and natural gas—is the backbone of America’s strength. Senator Justice has spent his entire life around energy and coal, and he stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the men and women who keep the industry running. He knows firsthand the critical role energy plays in providing good-paying jobs, supporting families, and keeping America powered.

This experience helps inform Senator Justice’s work on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, where he has continued to advocate for our state’s crucial role in America’s economy and energy security. In June 2025, he introduced the Energy Choice Act, which would help protect energy production in all states and municipalities.

For Senator Justice, energy independence isn’t enough. Energy is power, prosperity, and security. America should never depend on other countries for power. It’s time for true American energy dominance—led by the hardworking folks of West Virginia and America.
