Education has always been a centerpiece for Senator Justice. Our kids are the future, and it’s our responsibility to give them every tool to chase their dreams and build a stronger America.
Senator Justice has a deep respect for educators who are in the classrooms every day helping our children grow and succeed. His wife, Cathy, is a former educator, and together they’ve worked to improve West Virginia’s schools. During his time as Governor, they expanded the Communities In Schools program to all 55 counties—the first state in the nation to do so. He and Cathy also launched Friends With Paws, a program which brings therapy dogs into schools to lift spirits and comfort students.
Senator Justice stands with families and their right to make the best choices for their children. As Governor, he expanded school choice by supporting more charter schools and micro-schools and signed the Hope Scholarship into law. Today, he continues to fight for parents, pushing back against one-size-fits-all government rules so families—not bureaucrats—have the freedom to decide what’s right for their kids.
