West Virginia is home to a number of many veterans, and I’m deeply grateful for their service. Since my time as Governor, I have worked to support our veterans in every way I can, and it remains a privilege to continue that work as your United States Senator.
We can never fully repay them for their service, but we can do our best to make sure they have the support and resources they need.

Education Benefits
- Post 9/11, GI Bill
- Assist eligible veterans in obtaining financial support to cover the cost of tuition for college or training, housing and other expenses to start a career after military service
Medical Care
- Guide veterans through enrolling in medical programs.
- Assist with scheduling appointments.
Military Service Medals and Award Replacements
- Assist in obtaining replacement military service medals, decorations, and awards.
Pensions
- Assist veterans under certain income guidelines receive their pension.
Service Connected Benefits
- Assist service members who were injured during their time serving receive disability benefits.
Veteran Readiness and Employment Benefits
- Assist veterans with service-connected disabilities obtain financial support and resources for employment training
