WASHINGTON – Today, Senator Jim Justice met with West Virginian native and the Director of the Bureau of Prisons William “Billy” Marshall III:

Billy is a guy who brings West Virginia common-sense to our federal prison system, and Americans are safer because of it. BACKGROUND:
- Senator Justice as Governor of West Virginia appointed Billy Marshall as the Commissioner of the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
- Marshall has an impressive career, spending 25 years with the West Virginia State Police before taking on the role of West Virginia’s DCR commissioner.
- Senator Justice applauded the appointment of Billy by President Trump to serve as Director of Federal Prisons back in April.
